It is more than one year since an illegal rave was held in Twyford Wood, Colsterworth, and police are continuing to appeal for help to identify a number of individuals they would like to speak with.

The incident at the site began on the evening of Saturday, May 23, and ran into Sunday, May 24 last year. Police carried out an operation to shut it down, which resulted in a number of police officers injured and people arrested.

A total of 21 police officers and one police dog sustained injuries that were thankfully minor involving soft tissue injuries, cuts and scratches. Three officers, two from Derbyshire and one from Lincolnshire, required hospital treatment.

A number of people have already, or are due, to appear in court soon, charged with offences in relation to the illegal rave.

Work is ongoing to bring to justice all those responsible who took part in any kind of criminal offences which during the event included violent disorder, assault on police, criminal damage, dealing in drugs, failing to stop for police, and failing to abide by direction to leave.

Police are again appealing for help in identifying the individuals shown in these images, because they would like to speak to them in connection with the enquiry.

If you know who they are, then please contact police as soon as you can on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident 137 of 11/09/2015. Alternatively contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Chat / Family photo album accidentally donated to charity!!
« Last post by Heidi.Stern on April 29, 2016, 10:30:19 AM »
Has anyone bought a photo album from one of the charity shops in Bourne or Morton and realised it contains old family photos? My mum thinks she donated it (in the last few months) by mistake and would really like it back. We have been and asked at the shops but no joy so far..
